Josh Welfare Society (formerly Shri Shaay Society), an NGO based in Dehradun is nurtured by like-minded people who wish to create a huge difference in the world. This NGO is formed to educate maximum number of children in Dehradun; hence we are running different projects at various locations in Dehradun. We believe in giving back to the society and touching lives. Josh Welfare Society is all about offering innovative centres with a desire to create a meaningful impact on the lives of under-privileged children. We have designed a wholesome curriculum to follow.
The education that we wish to offer is filled with care, support, and independence that will provide these kids with a unique platform to untap their potential. Josh Welfare Society hopes to strengthen India by offering better education with learned and dedicated professionals who wish to contribute tremendously for a better future.
At present Josh Welfare Society is running many projects such as Rainbow, Helping Hands, Nirmaan, Kaushal, Pulse, and Harsh. Under these projects, we have children who are either not going to school or lagging in studies at their school. These children are from the family of housemaids, daily wage earners, rag pickers, and labourers, etc. We also provide them all necessary stationery items and we have well educated post-graduated teaching staff. The children who have never gone to school, we help them to get admission in government schools.
We conduct free health check-up camps and provide health and hygiene awareness to the families of our children. Our centres are running in those areas which are easily assessable by children so that distance could not be any hurdle in their learnings.
