Josh Welfare Society

Our Methodology

Our work is built on a structured, compassionate, and community-driven approach — ensuring that every child we serve receives consistent support, quality education, and holistic care.

How We Work

At Josh Welfare Society, our methodology is not just a process — it is a promise to every child and family we serve. Each step is designed to build trust, ensure continuity, and create lasting change in the communities we work with.

🧠
Step 01

Regular Counselling Sessions

We conduct regular counselling sessions aimed at raising awareness among parents and local communities about the paramount importance of education. Our team visits children’s homes, engaging in dialogues with parents to emphasise the significance of education and encourage them to enrol their children in our learning centres. These sessions are held bi-monthly.

👨‍👩‍👧
Step 02

Parent–Teacher Meetings

On the final day of each month, we organise Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to discuss the performance and attendance of each child. These meetings foster meaningful collaboration between parents and educators, ensuring that every child’s progress is monitored closely and concerns are addressed promptly.

🏫
Step 03

Enrolment in Government Schools

For children who are not currently attending school or have discontinued their education for various reasons, we actively facilitate their admission into government schools. We guide families through the entire process, ensuring no child misses the opportunity to receive formal education.

📄
Step 04

Documentation Assistance

Many children from marginalised families lack essential documents such as Aadhar Cards, which prevent them from accessing government services and school admissions. We extend a helping hand to families by assisting them in obtaining the necessary documentation, removing a critical barrier to education and welfare.

📖
Step 05

Structured Curriculum & Regular Classes

Our learning centres operate six days a week, staffed by well-qualified educators who follow a structured curriculum tailored to each child’s age and grade level. This consistency in teaching ensures that every child receives the foundational knowledge they need to progress academically and build confidence in their abilities.

🎨
Step 06

Effective Teaching–Learning Materials

To facilitate deeper comprehension and make learning engaging, our teachers employ a range of Teaching–Learning Materials (TLMs). These tools are specifically designed to help children grasp essential concepts in an interactive and enjoyable manner, making the classroom experience both effective and memorable.

🎉
Step 07

Festivals & Birthday Celebrations

We celebrate festivals such as Holi, Diwali, Republic Day, Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, and Dussehra with great enthusiasm, featuring competitive activities to engage and motivate children. We also celebrate every child’s birthday with cake cutting and treats — because every child deserves to feel special and celebrated.

🏆
Step 08

Activities in Government Schools

Beyond our learning centres, we organise competitive activities in government schools — including sports competitions, drawing contests, and debates. These events are designed to inspire and motivate children, and winners are recognised and awarded with meaningful prizes, encouraging a culture of effort, excellence, and healthy competition.

Our Approach Is Simple

We show up — every day, in every slum, for every child. With consistency, compassion, and a structured plan of action, we ensure that no child is left without support, guidance, or the opportunity to learn.
