A few words about

What We Do

Our projects
On the ground, every day — here is how we are making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children across Dehradun.
Rainbow

Based in Rajiv Nagar, Dehradun, Rainbow serves 103 children from low-income communities who are weak in studies or have never attended school. We teach foundational literacy and numeracy, and make learning enjoyable through weekly competitive activities where winners are rewarded with healthy food items.

Umang

Under this project, we provide awareness and information to children across our centers, schools, and communities on critical issues including health and hygiene, child rights, cyber safety, drug de-addiction, women’s safety, financial literacy, nutrition, and government welfare schemes.

Helping Hand

A project dedicated to bringing joy, confidence, and a sense of belonging to underprivileged children through engaging activities, personal attention, and a supportive learning environment.

Harsh

Through this project, we organise competitive activities — including drawing, painting, clay modelling, dance, and sports — in government schools across Dehradun. Top performers are recognised and awarded meaningful prizes, inspiring children to strive for excellence in all areas of life.

Kaushal

Kaushal identifies and nurtures hidden talent across all our learning centres through drawing competitions, sports, and quick-answer activities. The project builds curiosity, independent thinking, teamwork, and self-esteem — encouraging every child to perform to the best of their ability.

Pulse

Pulse conducts free health check-up camps in nearby slum areas, providing free medicines to those in need. Children and their families are made aware of the importance of cleanliness, health, and hygiene through these camps, which are organised and managed entirely by the Josh Welfare Society team.

Nirmaan (closed Temporarily)

This project was running in Basti area of Dehradun.  40 children were associated with this project. We provided them education and make them aware about health and hygiene. We started this project with the aim of making a difference in the life of underprivileged children belonging to socio-economically marginalised section of society.
