The Challenge We Address
Children forced into rag-picking, small industries, and domestic service
High dropout rates due to lack of parental support and social pressure
Deprivation of education, proper nutrition, and basic recreation
About The Project
From the Streets
Into the Classroom
Street-connected children are often drawn to urban areas by the chance to find work — from rag-picking to working in small industries, selling goods, or domestic service. This lifestyle deprives them of essential childhood needs: education, proper nutrition, and recreation.
Many who do enrol in school face significant challenges, often dropping out due to a lack of parental support, inadequate school resources, and mounting social pressure. The Street to School project was launched in 2022 to directly address this crisis.
